TGIF Exhibits Show Open to the Public

For the first time ever we opened the trade show to the public on Saturday, May 10 in the afternoon.

The response was more than overwhelming.

850 local people visited the trade show

850 members of the public poured through the doors of the conference centre wanting to learn more about celiac disease and the gluten free diet.

    Need more information?

If you are visiting this site for the first time as a result of attending the trade show, check out our information about celiac disease, The Canadian Celiac Association and our local Chapter on this website or look at the Links page for more websites.

What trade show visitors saw and learned:

  • Information about celiac disease and the gluten free diet.
  • A demonstration of the new test for celiac disease
  • 2G Pharma tested and counseled about 80 people for celiac disease with the brand new product, a celiac home testing kit, launched at the conference.

  • And more…

  • More than 40 booths demonstrated gluten free food with free samples to try.
  • Gluten free cookbook authors sold the latest gluten free cookbooks.
  • And everyone coming through the door learned more about celiac disease and the gluten free diet all for a $2 entrance fee.

  • The Savvy Celiac Guide was Launched

We printed 1500 copies of the Savvy Celiac Guide and every one is gone.
Every conference delegate and every exhibits show visitor received a copy of this excellent guide.
